On January 31, 2026, the Consulate General of China in Zanzibar held a Spring Festival package distribution event themed "Embracing the Chinese New Year" at the Consulate. Consul General Li Qianghua distributed Spring Festival packages to the overseas Chinese community in Zanzibar and teachers from the Confucius Classroom, extending his warm festive greetings and best wishes for the Year of the Horse.
