On December 21, 2024, Li Qianghua, the newly appointed Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Zanzibar, Tanzania, arrived in Zanzibar to begin his term. Representatives of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, including Deputy Director Leluu Omar Abdallah and Assistant Director Ahmada Sufiani of the Zanzibar Foreign Affairs Bureau, along with consular officials from the Consulate General, were present to welcome him.
